A little about us:

The Warrnambool Men’s Shed Radio Group is an independent non-aligned group of Radio Amateurs. Many of our members reside in either Warrnambool or the surrounding areas. Our group operates under the callsign VK3WAY.

Location

Our rooms are located at 91 Hyland Street, Warrnambool Victoria.

Weekly Net

We would like to announce that there will be a weekly net starting back up again as of the 6th of July starting at 10am.

The net will be hosted on our very own VK3RWB repeater system each Sunday at 10am. This amazing net is called the “Warrnambool Men’s Shed VK3WAY Net”.

We welcome any operators to join us to have a chat and catch up. Details for the repeater system are available on the right hand side or via our VK3RWB tab on our page.

Coffee and Radio, the perfect combination.

We have catch ups on Saturdays. Our rooms are open by 10am by our members. There is plenty of cups of tea or coffee(depending on your preference) with lots of conversation to be had by our lovely members.

Visitors

We would like to welcome any visitors to come up to the rooms and see the amazing world of radio we have at our fingertips right here in Warrnambool. Within our amazing group resides plenty of knowledge and we would be more than willing to answer any questions that you may have in regards to the radio world.

Assessments

Our group has Assessors available to help and assess you to either acquire a foundation licence or step your existing licence up. Please feel free to contact us to find out more information. Please note; that any training or assessments are subject to the availability of the specific members and there must be some understanding in regards to any scheduling.
